The experience
Station Hotel; one of the most dependable places I know of when it comes to great steak. Located just a few steps away from Footscray station, this place is easily accessible by those living on the west side.

After an absolutely delicious dinner in sweltering heat, we decided to go to Jock’s for some ice cream.

- Strawberry sorbet; made on site
- Devonshire Tea; two freshly baked scones served with strawberry jam and a helping of double thick cream, accompanied by your choice of tea or coffee.
- Belgian Chocolate Fondue; a bowl of melted Belgian Chocolate and a plate of extra large succulent strawberries for dipping.
- Sunny Ridge Strawberry Temptation; a parfait glass spilling with strawberries, Sunny Ridge farm-made strawberry ice cream and sorbet, topped with lashings of whipped cream and strawberry syrup
- Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta; home-made, creamy vanilla bean panna cotta topped with marinated strawberries and a dollop of extra thick cream
The experience
The first thing we noticed when we arrived at Sunny Ridge cafe was the crowds; families filled benches, countless people lining up and even families standing to one side eating home-made Sunny Ridge sorbets and ice-creams.
