Grand Designs Live is a showcase held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition. Taking inspiration from the TV series, Grand Designs Live is the place to get ideas and free advice. There were over 220 premium exhibitors who showcased the latest products and innovations in the four key zones - Building, Interiors, Kitchens & Bathrooms and Outdoors.

Open House Melbourne is an annual event providing the public a free and rare opportunity to discover a hidden wealth of architectural, engineering and historic buildings nestled around the city.
Denmark House was the first place on my list. Denmark House is usually only open to its members (Danish and Australian) and their guests.
Denmark House is a contemporary space and showcasing the sophisticated sense of design, including select furniture pieces, for which Denmark has long been revered. Aesthetics aside, the atmosphere is warm, inviting and family friendly.
